The 13th Pack to the Future Conference was held at the School of Design and Creative Arts, Loughborough University.

The conference focused on the theme ‘Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on the Packaging Supply Chain’ from  design, commercial, production, environmental and behavioural perspectives.

Presentations included

  • Brian Lodge, British Plastics Federation – The future of plastic packaging.
  • Bhavnita Patel, The Manufacturing Technology Centre – AI in Manufacturing.
  • Professor Georgina Cosma and Dr Nikki Clarke, Loughborough University  – AI: The Future – Research and Innovation at Loughborough University.
  • and a keynote presentation by Tim Barbary, Benchmark Consulting – The Role of Artifical Intelligence in Transforming Packaging.
