MPkgS member visit to Amcor Recycling facility, Heanor
Date – Tuesday 21 April 2026 2-5pm

The Amcor Flexibles facility in Heanor, Derbyshire specialises in the processing and recycling of hard-to-recycle mixed plastic films. The site operates an integrated, closed-loop system in which post-consumer packaging collected from customers and central recycling points is received, sorted, reprocessed, and re-manufactured into new plastic products entirely on site. Visitors are able to observe the full end-to-end recycling and manufacturing process.
